Rhino's already put out two 4-CD boxes that dig deeply into the genre's riches, so this 22-song summary is strictly an introduction. There'll be quibbles from aficionados, but any one-volume set with the Teenagers' ''Why Do Fools Fall in Love,'' the Marcels' ''Blue Moon,'' the Regents' ''Barbara-Ann,'' and the Five Satins' ''In the Still of the Nite'' is as well stocked as a one-room doo-wop shop gets.
