The Icelandic art-disco collective Gus Gus is still spinning beatscapes worthy of the 4AD label sumptuous, enfolding, endorphin soaked. In This Is Normal, the groove science is more club-wise and less cerebral than on their debut: Accessorized with vintage soul finery, they pull back the Euro-house roof and gaze at the northern lights. Agreed, the breathy musings on lust and dance-floor spirituality remain slight. But when the singers stick to ambiance, you want the tracks to go on forever. B+
