Following Return of the Rentals, Matt Sharp took an extended European vacation. His continental jaunt is reflected in Seven More Minutes' lyrics, with their late nights, drugs, and femmes not-so-fatale. If he got homesick, the cure was writing this. Though distinctly American, this brash, densely layered pop would sound equally at home in Venice, Italy, or on Venice Beach, Calif. B+
