Check your irony at the door: This piano-pop Ally McBeatific delineates the dangers of dating roguish loners and emerges with ivory, ideals, and glow intact. In By 7:30 you don't even have to be a woman who loves too much to find the balmlike qualities of her best white-soul ballads restorative. A-
