The good news: Sheryl Crow, Everlast, and Shawn Mullins' fun covers of ''Sweet Child O' Mine,'' ''Only Love Can Break Your Heart,'' and ''What Is Life,'' respectively, aren't the debacle you might have expected. The bad news: Mel C's solo debut is the hopelessly blah ''Ga Ga,'' and much of the rest of the Big Daddy soundtrack consists of unexciting previously released tunes, dumb dialogue snippets, and ''Babe,'' Styx's all-time worst single (which is really saying something). B-
