It's reassuring to hear Peter Gabriel sagely crooning inspirational verse to a pig (on Randy Newman's ''That'll Do'') in Babe: Pig in the City. You also get Edith Piaf's ''Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien'' and Dean Martin's ''That's Amore'' (originals and mouse versions), plus sound bites, score fragments, and non-film tracks by the Chieftains and the Mavericks. Fine, but it begs the question, Who actually buys these collections? B-
