(1998, Trimark, R, $101.99) Although this charming, featherweight romantic comedy unfolds against a backdrop of lip-synching drag queens, at its heart is the old story of a boy and his object of desire. That the boy, a photographer named Billy (Hayes of TV's Will & Grace), happens to be gay and the blond love object a male model (Rowe) is of no thundering social significance. Indeed, freshman writer-director Tommy O'Haver's matter-of-factness about their sexuality is what seems revolutionary.
