Tamara Jenkins' Slums of Beverly Hills, the tale of a girl (Natasha Lyonne) grappling with her family's nomadic lifestyle and her own developing bosom is the refreshing exception, exploring such potentially crass material as an encounter with a vibrator without becoming condescending or exploitative.
