It's tempting to write off the Atlanta trio Marvelous 3 as just another Third Eye Blind clone: They're on the same label, favor the same power-chord radio pop, and brazenly kick off Hey! Album with the phrase ''do-do-do do do.'' But their first single, the new-wave rave-up ''Freak of the Week,'' deserves to be as huge as ''Semi-Charmed Life,'' and the mostly fun (but uneven Hey! is actually more Cheap Trick than cheap imitation.
