Reuniting with Erykah Badu, the Roots blend a chocolatey hip-hop aesthetic with Badu's peanut-buttery-smooth vocals. The result is the catchy, quizzical treat ''You Got Me'' that pleads for a second listen. After repeated sampling, one discovers complex layers in the Roots' signature drum syncopation and sweet subtleties in Badu's uniquely phrased chorus. B
