Lost in the Supermarket (1999)

EW's GRADE
B+

Details Lead Performance: Evelyn Forever; Genre: Rock

Forget about the Clash-inspired title; if this young New Jersey quartet had been around in 1978, they'd almost certainly recorded for Stiff Records alongside unapologetic popsters like Elvis Costello and Nick Lowe. Okay, so they don't quite have the pop chops of their forebears on Lost in the Supermarket, but when it comes to re-creating the sound of their idols, Evelyn Forever's aim is true. B+
