No first-class vocalist has suffered as much from uneven material as Springfield. Case in point: these repackaged reissues of two '60s releases. Dusty in London (previously import only) is a mishmash of forgettable songs and tacky arrangements. Dusty in Memphis, on the other hand, is a pure gem. None of Memphis' 14 bonus tracks measure up to the original 11, but who cares? It's her shining moment and just might be one of the all-time great pop albums.
