Janet Jackson: The Velvet Rope Tour Live in Concert

Both recent TV specials contain Mitchell's ''Big Yellow Taxi'' (Janet incorporates the song into ''Got 'til It's Gone''), but that's all these concert videos share. Janet's show is a gyrating, arena-size spectacle; Joni performs on an L.A. stage tastefully decorated with her own paintings. Janet glares at the crowd; Joni tells jokes and stories. And Janet's hit-packed show can't find a groove until halfway through, while Joni and her nimble band are consistently great, only losing a bit of steam during a silly cover of ''Why Do Fools Fall in Love?''
