Meet ''the men who killed Bambi's mother,'' as Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston are referred to here. During their 43 years together as Disney animators, Frank and Ollie put their hearts into some of the most memorable scenes (Lady and the Tramp's spaghetti dinner, Bambi on the ice) and beloved characters (Thumper, Mowgli) in the annals of ''personality animation.''
