If you didn't already know that getting old is hard, this unflinching look at an octogenarian losing both her memory and her beloved art gallery will convince you. Yes, playwright-screenwriter Kenneth Lonergan (This Is Our Youth, Analyze This) provides amusing moments, but the final scenes like the last days of many elderly people are so uncompromising they're painful to watch. Attention must be paid, however, to star Eileen Heckart, who takes on a demanding role at age 80 and turns in a heartbreaking performance. B
