In an odd twist worthy of The Practice, series star Dylan McDermott and his wife, Shiva Rose, have bought a 4,000-square-foot home once owned by Michelle Pfeiffer, the wife of McDermott's boss, producer David E. Kelley. (Pfeiffer sold it three years ago to power couple Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas.) What makes this place such a celeb magnet? Built in the '20s, the authentic-looking Old Spanish spread features a pool, a spa, and a fountain-bedecked courtyard on a half-acre lot. Meanwhile, McDermott's cast mates Camryn Manheim and Lara Flynn Boyle recently unpacked their own briefs: Manheim last year bought a $1.1 million home on the Venice Canals (L.A.'s version, near Santa Monica), while Boyle rang in the new year in a $740,000, 1,600-square-foot cottage in Beverly Hills.
