Their voices deep enough to dial 976 numbers without getting caught, Hanson, the original '90s boy band returns, and as a boy rock band. Lurching from smooth balladry to big, splashy exhortations, the somewhat ungainly single ''This Time Around'' tries too hard to convince us that Hanson are heavyweights. But thank God — or whomever they pray to — for the vivid choruses. B
