The soundtrack to Romeo Must Die includes offerings from Destiny's Child and Joe, but Romeo star Aaliyah takes the lead with four forward-looking tracks. The ex-R. Kelly protegee teams with producer Timbaland (he worked on Aaliyah's last album) and Missy Elliott. Timbaland ably sets Aaliyah's icy coos against B-movie minor chords and Reznor-like synth-bass rumbles, while lyricist Elliott continues creating a hip-hop lexicon of love: ''Are you feelin' me, yo?''
