This May, Pennsylvania's Dickinson College will present an honorary doctor of arts degree to noted scholar...Antonio Banderas? But scoff not: The school (which has a study-abroad program in Banderas' Spanish hometown of Malaga) is actually recognizing the Evita star's pre-Hollywood resume of acclaimed film and theater work with directors like Pedro Almodovar. ''He's done dozens of films in Spain,'' says Dickinson senior lecturer Grace Jarvis, who recommended Banderas for the graduation honor. ''He's not just another pretty face.'' Though he will look awfully cute in a cap and gown.
