The necessity of a Snoop Dogg hits set is questionable, which is why the folks behind Death Row: Snoop Doggy Dogg at His Best cannily included two remixes and seven previously unreleased tracks. The classics showcase young Snoop's graceful South Central-by-way-of-Mississippi delivery, and the remixes are pretty harmless, but the unreleased cuts are a reminder of Death Row's garish sound at its worst.
