Oh, Boys!
ABC's Making the Band is the newest boy-band attraction. The draw? Trying to figure out which of the eight real-life hopefuls will become the five members of O-Town. ''It's become an obsession,'' gushes New York City dot-com-er Lynda Thomas, 24, who attends viewing parties. (FYI, March 19's L.A. Times spoiled the surprise.) With plenty of catfighting and bad singing, Band will air through August. In the meantime, here's Scout's take on the O-Town wannabes and their boy-band doppelgangers.
