this easy, breezy send-up of Hollywood's golden age, in which a
modern-day Humphrey-loving dick tries to solve a convoluted jewel
caper. The premise of this long-unavailable flick is stretched a
bit too far, but The Man With Bogart's Face cruises along on so
much charm that it makes for pleasing family fare assuming your
kid gets all those Gene Tierney references. B
