Taller Than a Dwarf: less pleasant than a rash. The talent gone to waste in this mild-unto-catatonia middle-class comedy boggles the mind. Elaine May wrote the script (think Neil Simon on Percodan), Alan Arkin directs (think rush hour on the set of Mad About You), Matthew Broderick stars (charmingly, as a schlump in early midlife crisis), and indie-film queen Parker Posey costars (cluelessly).
