Exec producer Adam Sandler wet his production company's feet with the appropriately idiotic comedy Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, about a fish-tank cleaner who reluctantly becomes a ''he-bitch'' for hire to repair the damage he's done to a professional lothario's bungalow. Everyschlumpf Schneider (who cowrote the script) makes a likable enough hero as he boldly woos and teases his stable of too-pathetic ''she-johns,'' but that's not enough to keep the flick's cardboard characters and waterlogged jokes afloat. None of this will matter, however, to fans of Sandlerland. D+
