Aural Sex

The ''American Rhapsody'' audiobook -- Bill Maher and Melissa Gilbert voice key roles in the audio of Joe Eszterhas' new book

We haven't heard the last of Monica Lewinsky on tape. American Rhapsody, Joe Eszterhas's new book, spoofs the White House sex scandal — and who voices the zaftig ex-intern on the audio version? None other than former Little House on the Prairie cherub Melissa Gilbert. ''The part just totally came my way,'' chimes Gilbert, who draws upon her Valley Girl past to mimic the L.A.-bred Lewinsky. ''If it adds a little edge to my image, maybe that's not a bad thing.'' Meanwhile, Politically Incorrect's Bill Maher lent his voice to both special prosecutor Kenneth Starr and — we kid you not — Bill Clinton's penis. ''I played Ken Starr first,'' says Maher, ''so I got into character as a d---.''
