Just how bad is this spineless $60 million space-wreck? So bad that the guy who directed Brewster's Millions -- Walter Hill -- took his name off. Spader tries out his newly buff bod and gravelly hero voice as the captain of a medical vessel that rescues a sinister scavenger (Peter Facinelli) with a rage-on for the good doctor Bassett. The upshot of this unreleased R-rated cut is that now, Robin Tunney's breasts get more screen time than Robert Forster. D
