Merchant Ivory films are certainly ripe for parody, but the oversexed spoof Stiff Upper Lips lacks the requisite zaniness (see SCTV's ''Jane Eyrehead'' sketch). Scales (Fawlty Towers) has a few droll moments as she fervently tries to find a suitable husband for her niece (Cates). Unfortunately, all the crass sex jokes and gross bathroom humor will probably make you wish you were watching A Room With a View instead. C-
