PASSION OF MIND
Demi Moore, William Fichner (2000, Paramount,
105 mins., PG-13, also on DVD)

It's an intriguing idea: Moore plays a pair of women, one married with children, the other a single career gal, who dream each other's lives -- and need each other's lives to complete their own. Too bad any complex notions about the nature of fantasy and its ability to fill in the gaps of waking life are barely addressed as the film remains solidly in gauzy Romance Classics territory.
