True, Michael J. Fox has relinquished the post of deputy mayor to another '80s survivor, Charlie Sheen, but the Emmy winner still owns the key to Spin City: Fox will pop up in this season's first episode, when his character calls up main babe Caitlin (Heather Locklear). ''Mike checks in and we get to find out how he's doing in Washington,'' says returning cast member Michael Boatman. ''Michael [may also] appear in one or two more episodes in which there will be more interaction with the rest of us.'' Now, that's what we call family ties.
