Before American Beauty and American Pie, Mena Suvari paid her dues in the crummy sex comedy American Virgin (made in 1998 and released theatrically as Live Virgin), about a teen angel who rebels against her porn-director daddy (Robert Loggia) by signing for a pay-TV deflowering. Ostensibly a smut satire, it's mostly just a sleazy tease, made increasingly unpleasant by Loggia's bellowing. Damn near unwatchable. F
