Originally edited by Jackie Onassis, this updated edition of the seminal 1993 bio of Jean Harlow, Hollywood's ill-fated ''Platinum Blonde,'' boasts a new section of 35 rare photos from ''Unseen Scenes'' cut from her MGM films to appease the censors. The often silly images add an extra dimension of sadness to this already tragic story of the conflicted young sex symbol who was embarrassed by fame and couldn't cut the umbilical cord to a truly domineering stage mother. Stenn (Clara Bow: Runnin' Wild) clarifies Harlow's strange marriage to suicidal MGM exec Paul Bern and the real reason she died so suddenly at age 26. A
