Nic's cage! 5 BR, 5.5 BTH gated Los Feliz Oaks retreat PRICE $1.5 million

It wasn't exactly gone in 60 seconds, but Nicolas Cage's medieval-flavored pad has finally been scooped up. The eccentric home -- on the market since July 1999, as previously reported by EW -- was bought by former Beverly Hills, 90210 producer Jessica Klein and her fiance, Isaac Levenbrown. ''I never dreamed that I would live in a house that was a castle,'' says Klein. ''It's got interior and exterior gargoyles.'' The 5,300-square-foot house has plenty of other odd touches, including mounted butterfly display cases in the living room; a dining room mural featuring scenes from ancient Egypt; and a stairway with a cast-iron snake for a banister. Apparently Cage never got around to building that dungeon.
