The statuesque ex-Vegas showgirl Kristine W follows up her hit 1996 debut, Land of the Living, with Stronger, an album of energizing dance tracks, and some ballads for a change of pace. ''Never Been Kissed'' and ''Stronger'' should keep denizens of the disco and aerobic classes moving. But Miss W displays versatility on cuts like James Taylor's ''Shower the People,'' which she infuses with a rich, sultry quality. Uptempo or mellow, this is forcefully invigorating. A-
