This Is What I Do is nothing out of the ordinary: just a document of one of the greatest living saxophonists doing what he does. With an infectious calypso here (''Salvador''), a tartly realized ballad there (''A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square''), an extended, adventurous solo for good measure (on ''Did You See Harold Vick?''), the set reminds us that Sonny Rollins' sound remains one of the world's sweetest and boldest cultural forces.
