The Complete BBC Recordings (2012)

Turns out ''complete'' wasn't too big of a challenge. Less than 38 minutes long (not counting a perfunctory interview clip), Joy Division's The Complete BBC Recordings compiles just 10 live-in-the-studio tracks, and two of them — ''Transmission'' and ''She's Lost Control'' — appear twice. That would be okay if the performances were more exciting, but while this stuff sounds clearer and cleaner, it lacks the intensity of other live JD recordings (like the chaotic Preston 28 February 1980).
