Game Show (2012)

Behind Door Number One lies a winning gimmick: an actual onstage Game Show with actual audience volunteers (and actual prizes). The host is a sublimely insincere Pat Sajak clone (gifted improviser Michael McGrath) who milks his giddily unwitting contestants for limitless laughs. Unfortunately, there's also a Door Number Two, behind which lurks a script that fails to capitalize on its own metatheatrical conceit, opting instead to serve up last month's Survivor references and last decade's Alex Trebek gags as if they were the Final Answer.
