After a hellish production, Charlie's Angels enjoyed heavenly premieres in L.A. and New York. Bubbly coproducer Drew Barrymore presided over both events with costars Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu. When asked who'd win in a battle between the old and new celestial creatures, Barrymore quipped: ''We'd start tugging the rope, but then we'd drop it and come together for a group hug.'' Former Angel Jaclyn Smith, now 55, was a bit more realistic: ''We were kind of innocent back then. With all their martial-arts moves, they'd probably clobber us.''
