More interested in profits than prophets, DreamWorks pharaoh Jeffrey Katzenberg rips a page from the Disney playbook with Joseph: King of Dreams, a chintzy direct-to-video spin-off of The Prince of Egypt. Affleck forcefully voices the titular visionary sold into slavery, but if this ballad-laden biblical pabulum is the kind of family-friendly entertainment John McCain and Joseph Lieberman want Hollywood to produce, God help us all.
