Daring but dull, The Idiots centers on a commune of friends who get their kicks from pretending to be retarded: They ''spaz'' out in public and get in touch with their ''inner idiot.'' After the group fools a factory manager, new recruit Karen (Jorgensen) says, ''I don't think it was very funny.'' Ditto. C
