Rhythm guitarist-vocalist England, formerly of Garth Brooks' touring band, steps out with his second solo album, this one produced by his old boss, who mostly stays out of the way. While the first half strives mightily to evoke an easy, George Strait feel, England comes into his own with a Bruce Robison weeper and some twirling Western swing. A sly charmer.
