Plentiful Ellingtonia has come down the pike recently, honoring the late jazz great's centennial, but French pianist Solal has new ideas up his conceptual sleeve. Rather than dust off rarities, the masterful brainiac cooks up rare, radical big-band charts of standards like ''Satin Doll'' and ''Take the A Train'' -- anything but sentimental or predictable.
