In an attempt to return to his goofy Bananas roots, Allen's latest celebfest features him as the inept criminal mastermind Ray, who sets out to tunnel into a bank vault, and Ullman as his skeptical wife, Frenchy. But his shticky Honeymooners-meets-Three Stooges concept just comes off as condescending and derivative (even the plot's ironic twist -- that Frenchy makes millions as a cookie magnate -- is a retread of last year's Albert Brooks comedy The Muse). C-
