This grrrl group's self-titled debut was one of the best releases of 2000. Its seven-song follow-up features more punk polemics, rhythmic sound collages, and lo-fi gizmo music from Kathleen Hanna (ex-Bikini Kill) and 'zine queen Johanna Fateman. Only 17 minutes long, but economy is a virtue in Le Tigre's world. ''It feels so '80s/Or early '90s/To be political,'' they drone like robotic cheerleaders on the caustic call to arms ''Get Off the Internet!'' When they sing the zombie stomp ''Mediocrity Rules,'' sarcasm is their lead instrument. B
