Tim Robbins has fun playing a colossally rich, megalomaniacal computer visionary who looks and acts a whole lot like Bill Gates. But this conspiracy thriller can't sustain its attitude of cheery paranoia because the rest of the principals transmit at such an awfully low baud rate: Slow-reacting Ryan Phillippe is a young computer genius who glimpses corporate evil and stares at it dumbly; Claire Forlani poses and primps as his girlfriend.
