Follow if you can: In less time than it takes to scramble breakfast, hapless egg-factory handyman Roger Crumpkin (Serious) falls in love with the boss' girl, discovers evidence of alien life, takes up smoking, quits smoking, becomes a hard-boiled egg junkie, and exposes an FDA-worthy tampering scheme involving the manufacturing of addictive nicotine-enhanced eggs. Serious' clumsy Aussie charm worked over a decade ago in the whimsically historical Young Einstein; here, though, it's just an accident waiting to happen. D+
