Fleeing Hollywood and a sagging film career, Miranda (Tripplehorn) latches on to an English lord (Edward Atterton). But Lady Marshwood (Andrews) doesn't like her son slumming with a starlet. Add to the mix Miranda's vulgar costar (William Baldwin) who wants his ''Pooch'' back from ''Mr. Hooty Tooty Snooty.'' Andrews, in a testament to her resiliency, emerges from this flimsy adaptation of Nöel Coward's play with her dignity intact. C+
