For longtime fans of Baywatch, news last month that the series was finally coming to an end must have come as a shock. After 12 years, those tiny swimsuits will be ... gone. The good news: Reruns are expected to air in more than 100 countries. Plus, the recently redesigned Baywatch website will live on as a virtual shrine. -- HH

Beach Chat The usual chat capability, but fans can literally speak to each other. All you need is a friendly PC-based computer and a microphone. Now You Know: ''There's no downloads. You just press a button and it starts,'' Kalman says. ''It takes you into an avatar setting where you pick your characters and your character's mouth starts moving when you start talking. It's really cute.''

Episode Guide Reading on a site about Baywatch? It happens frequently enough for producers to crank out a weekly update. Fans can relive Pamela Anderson's golden years. Rationale: Says exec producer Allen Kalman,''We found people are spending a few minutes on a page reading the entire thing.''

Baywatch Model Agency Aspiring hunks and babes can send in badly lit Polaroids in this voyeuristic free-for-all. Browsing the submissions provokes plenty of ''What Were They Thinking?'' moments. Check out the quality cheesecake by clicking Model of the Week.

Downloads Gawk-worthy downloads include screen-savers and desktop calendars. There's also free e-mail via mybaywatch.com. Says the Producer: ''We didn't think, Let's give away stuff -- we were just thinking, What do people want?''
