Of all the Saturday Night Live movies, it's surprising that one featuring Meadows' anachronistic, lisping lothario Leon Phelps -- whose following is probably smaller than Gary Kroeger's -- is not heartbreakingly bad. However, that's due to the occasional shifting of focus from his Courvoisier to the reliable Will Ferrell, who does here what he typically does on SNL: saves the show. Of course, that doesn't forgive Ferrell for A Night at the Roxbury. C+
