'MAKING' THE GRADE

Survivor's Amber wasn't the only one to get dissed this week. Friends (30th), Will & Grace (38th), and ER (37th) were rebuffed when viewers didn't take to NBC's nostalgic airing of the shows' pilots (i.e. repeats). To add insult to injury, CBS strategized and scored with its back-to-back doses of CSI (2nd and 4th). Although Fox restationed Boot Camp (25th) in a Tuesday night slot, the barracks-based reality show still rounded up the troops, losing only half a million viewers from the prior week's outing. ABC's Making the Band returned with a pair of episodes, the second of which shot into the top 10 among teen girls. Overall, the numbers were only so-so (82nd and 81st) for O-Town, but they did beat out Sabrina, the Teenage Witch (90th and 93rd), and that's gotta feel good, even if she is a girl.
