The reigning CMA duo of the year reprise the snuff-dipping, whiskey-toting, manly sound of their debut, conjuring the spirit of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Charlie Daniels, and other '70s Southern rockers. The Kentucky boys never met a cliche they didn't like, but Carrying On is so contagiously hooky and hell-bound you'll think Waylon was wrong: This outlaw bit ain't never gettin' out of hand.
